Day 3 - ONE: United with Him in Design

Reading: Matthew 26:36-44 and Hebrews 4:14-16

Devotional:

Before a single nail was driven, Jesus was already bleeding — drops of blood pressed through His skin by the weight of sorrow in His soul. Matthew 26:38 tells us His soul was overwhelmed with grief. He did not float above the human experience. He entered it fully. He felt the anxiety, the dread, the crushing weight of what lay ahead. And yet, in that same moment, He prayed: not my will, but yours. This is the model. Not the absence of pain, but the surrender of will within it. He understands everything you brought into this day.

Have you ever felt that Jesus could not fully understand your suffering? How does His experience in Gethsemane challenge that belief?
