Day 4 - ONE: United with Him in Design

Reading: Ezekiel 36:26-27 and 2 Corinthians 5:17

Devotional:

God does not renovate the old heart. He replaces it. Ezekiel 36:26-27 describes a God who removes the heart of stone and gives a heart of flesh, placing His own Spirit within to move us toward His ways. This is not behavior management. This is transformation from the inside out. What captures the heart eventually shapes the mind, directs the desires, influences the will, and expresses itself through the body. Sanctification is not white-knuckling your way to holiness. It is allowing the new heart God has given you to do what it was designed to do — orient your whole person toward Him.

Are you trying to change from the outside in, or are you allowing God to work from the heart outward?
