Day 2 - ONE: United with Him in Design

Reading: Genesis 3:1-13 and Romans 5:12-19

Devotional:

It started with a question: did God really say? The enemy did not come with a sword. He came with a whisper. Truth was questioned, the mind was deceived, desire moved away from God, and the will chose independence. Every generation since has felt the weight of that moment. But God, in His mercy, did not leave the story there. Romans 5:19 declares that just as through the disobedience of one man the many were made sinners, so through the obedience of one man the many were made righteous. The disorder of Eden found its answer at Calvary.

Reflection:

Where in your own life do you recognize the pattern of truth being questioned before sin takes hold?
